An Organization... The DC Nationals Ice Hockey Club is an organization beased in the Washington DC area made up of gay or gay-friendly men and women with an interest in ice hockey. Ice Hockey Teams... The DC Nationals compete in gay ice hockey tournaments around the world. Many members play regularly on either an A and or B level team consisting of both gay and straight players. We currently do not have any beginner teams, but have been considering trying to start one. Participants in Gay Sports Tournaments... The DC Nationals Ice Hockey Club is a member of Gay Hockey International which organizes gay hockey teams throughout the world and sanctions tournaments. We participate in many annual tournaments as well as having competed in the Gay Games three times: winning the gold in New York, the bronze in Amsterdam, and the silver in Sydney. History...
