Chelsea Challenge 2011

We're beginning to form a team to compete in this year's Chelsea Challenge being held in NYC the weekend of June 17-19. If you are interested in joining us, send an email with your name, preferred position, and playing experience to:

Chelsea Challenge game 3 and finals

The Bi-Capital Nationals had a disappointing game against Vancouver, giving up 5 goals in the third period in their 6-0 loss. They finish 5th out of 6 teams in the rec B division and will miss the medal round.

The DC Nationals fared better, defeating Montreal 3-1 and finishing second in the A division. They played Montreal again in the semi-final game, winning 10-4. In the championship game, DC couldn't skate past the New York Lions, losing 5-1.

The DC teams didn't fair as well in their second games with each team earning just 2 out of the possible 8 points. The Bi-Capital Nationals game up a goal late in the third period to loose to Boston 3-4. The DC Nationals fought back against a tough NY team but came up short, losing 3-4.

Each team plays 1 more game today.

Congrats to the Bi-Capital Nationals for their 4-3 win last night over the NY Stonewallers, earning 6 points. We play again today at 12:30 against Boston and at 5:20 against Vancouver. All games are at the Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers. If you're in NYC, come out and watch us play!

Congrats also go to our A division team, the DC Nationals for their decisive 12-2 win last night, earning all 8 points.
